Dr Divya Mehta

Dr Divya Mehta is a Senior Research Fellow at QUT and Honorary Research Fellow at UQ. Her research lies at the interface of genomics, psychiatry and biostatistics. Dr Mehta’s research involves identification of genetic and environmental risk factors and how they interact with each other to mediate risk for disease. She believes that by understanding the biology of stress-related disorders we can improve diagnosis and allow for early intervention and timely and personalized treatment, impacting health and well-being.
Dr Mehta has received prestigious research awards and grants and has co-authored several publications with national and international collaborators.
