TO ALL MEMBERS

I have received the following information from Mr Yang Kim, Secretary Korean
Veterans Association, with regard to the Korean Peace Medal. The Medal is
available to all Korean War Veterans, the medal is also available to
Families of Deceased Korean War Veterans. I can only ask that you give this
information the widest circulation within your own groups so that
appropriate recognition is made to all ex and deceased Korean War Veterans.

Yours faithfully

Wayne Eastgate

There could be a presentation of Ambassador of Peace Medal coming up in
Brisbane in February.

The ROK Officials in Canberra are trying to determine if there would be
meaningful recipients for the medal to decide to include the peace medal
presentation in their visit to Brisbane.

So I am trying to get some helps in finding out the possible contacts from
the members and families and other associations.

I also would like to ask all members to ask around for possible members or
families who may not be aware of the Peace Medal.

The peace medal is presented to the Korea veterans and can be presented
posthumous.

If the veterans cannot attend personally his delegate such as family, friend
or Association representative will be welcome to receive the medal on the
day.

Please email or ring me on 0419 919 034 for any further information.

Kind regards,
Yang Kim, Secretary AQKV
