Meaghan O’Donnell is the Director of Research at the Phoenix Australia, Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health, and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne.

She has over 100 peer review publications in the area of posttraumatic mental health and has a keen interest in posttraumatic phenomenology and early intervention following trauma exposure.

She is President of the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies and was recently awarded the prestigious Experienced Researcher Humboldt Fellowship to foster her international collaborations. She is on the editorial board for the European Journal of Traumatic Stress Studies.
